I was so excited when I checked on the status of a recipe I submitted to a contest late last night on the Food52 website, and was pleasantly surprised to see my recipe was selected for the testing phase of “Your Best Recipe with Potatoes 2.0”!
Even though I don’t have a new recipe for you (we had been busy getting ready to host our first Super Bowl party in the new house), you can find a slew of great recipes on that website, including all the great potato recipes that made it through the first round of the contest!
Click here to view the Community Pick page —–> Your Best Recipe with Potatoes 2.0
You can click on the link to the recipe in the list. Enjoy!
This looks so yummy and so perfect for those East Coasters deep in snow. We are having Spring like weather here, but still gotta do this soup!!!

Hi. I cannot find your response but I remember you asking about high priced wine and a Benadryl. Seems like a glass of wine with a Benadryl would put you right to sleep. Perhaps you can look into French wine, which has notably less sulphites than US wine and just have an ounce or two then see what happens. Migraines are no fun but the French claim their wine in general does not cause headaches. I am not sure if it is true but an ounce or two of high quality Bordeaux (not necessarily expensive) may be worth a try.

I think it was on your blog instead of mine. Thanks, I’m still “mulling” this over. I’ll let you know, though, if I ever take “the plunge” into a red. 😀

Looks yummy. I could probably even make that!

Why thank you D. Wallace! It is not a hard soup to make, and very full of flavor. 🙂

I’m a terrible cook, who loves food. Not a good thing. I’m inspired by your blog.

I try to write my recipes in a way that anyone can cook them. I started my blog several years ago so that my daughter would have a place to go to look something up when she goes to college instead of calling me asking me “how do you make XXXX that you always made for dinner?” 😀
